Les phalènes se regroupent aux lumières des réverbères.
Des mecs sont assis sur le rebord du parapet.
Ils boivent des bières en bouteille, lentement, mais longtemps,
et lachent deux mots aux gens qui passent.
Et il en passe, car c'est Bal ce soir.

Marcia Baila ricoche sous les voûtes du pont et se dilue au fil de l'eau.
Il fait chaud, les phares sont jaunes, la Loire disparaît lentement dans le noir.

Pull en coton, souliers plats, ta mêche est coupée court.
En montant vers l'église on perçoit le battement sourd de la musique tout en bas,
et au dessus de nous le vol des martinets qui ne s'arrêtent jamais.

The Loire River (« La Loire »)
Moths gathering in the street lamp lights.
