Tu viens toujours à pied.
Par la fenêtre du bus j'aperçois ta démarche cadencée, tes petits pas serrés que je reconnaitrais partout, de dos s'il le faut.

Six mois plus tard, c'est l'été.
En terrasse, au café, tu me dis « je suis secrète ».
Cet aveu que tu fais est un présent sans prix. C'est la première fois que tu parles de toi .

Encore plus tard, des années, rien n'a vraiment bougé depuis ces trois mots.
Tu n'a rien dit de plus et je ne comprends pas mieux le gouffre que tu caches même à toi.

English translation:
Discreet (« Secrète »)
You always come walking. From the bus's window I can see your rythmic walk, all the small steps I would recognise anywhere, should you be turning your back on me. Six months later, it's summer. In a bar, on the terrace, you tell me « I am discreet». Those words are priceless, it's the very first time you speak about yourself. Later on, many years, nothing never happened since these few words. You never said more and I still don't get the abyss you hide from yourself too.
